How an I Ching reading works
- Hold a question in mind, then toss three coins six times. Each toss gives one line, from the bottom up.
- The six lines form your hexagram. Lines that are changing turn into their opposite and give a second, related hexagram: where the situation is heading.
- Read the hexagram as a prompt for reflection, not a forecast.
